Melting Pot

IMPACT manages the marketing for the three independently-owned Melting Pot restaurants in the Baltimore market (Towson, Columbia, Annapolis). We secured a vanity phone number, 410-Melting Pot, for them to share facilitate cooperative marketing for large regional ad campaigns. We help them with print ads, TV spots, radio ads, administering the popular Girls’ Night Out events, email blasts, and many charitable outreaches. We also serve as their PR agency, communicating with the media and general public on their behalf.

PlayWiseKids

PlayWiseKids attracts moms and kids from all over the Baltimore-Washington metro area to its 24,000 square-foot facility. IMPACT administers an advertising program - including sales, graphic design, and management - of a banner advertising program for other businesses to reach those moms and kids. We also wrote and produced a TV commercial to advertise the facility.

Hearing Assessment Centers

IMPACT has helped the Hearing Assement Centers with their marketing since 1990. We serve as their ad agency, placing them in media where they can best target their prospective patients. We’re also their public relations agency, getting them great exposure and ghost-writing articles for some of their doctors. We have established a "patient-touch" program to regularly reach patients with newsletters, seminars, fliers, and cards.

Let’s Eat!

We’re proud to have helped the Ellicott City location of Let’s Eat! become the Number 1 Let’s Eat! franchisee in the country. From the store launch when we conceived and managed a Grand Opening event that raised over $6,500 for the Hospice organization, to public relations and managing ad campaigns, IMPACT handles all of this company’s marketing functions.

Howard County Chamber of Commerce

The chamber needed to pump up its communications with its members and the media, so IMPACT placed a marketing specialist in the chamber offices a couple days per week to develop a communications plan and manage its implementation. We created The Chamber Weekly, an email blast, to communicate events and news to the members, began an aggressive campaign to communicate with the press, streamlined the communication process to eliminate waste and reduce costs, and laid out a long-term plan for chamber staff to implement communications on their own. We continue to serve the chamber staff on an as-needed basis.

The Data Tamer

Database consulting can be an intimidating subject for many non-technical people - their eyes might roll into the back of their head if you say too much about the details. So we helped our client come up with a whimsical company name that better conveys the benefit of his company’s services, instead of the actual nuts and bolts. We created a new logo, business cards, and an unintimidating one-page web site, which is a great of example of how sometimes less is more.

Tri-Arc

This Pittsburgh-based company is one of the top ladder manufacturers in the U.S., but their web site did not reflect that high quality. IMPACT redesigned www.Tri-Arc.com with a focus on usability and search-engine optimization. We also created a direct-mail campaign to drive customers to the new site, and created a new brochure. Following site redesign and search engine optimization (SEO), site visits increased 650% in three months.

Dr. Kimberly Turner

IMPACT was built on marketing for professional service providers. Dr. Kimberly Turner, an OB/GYN physician in Columbia, MD, is a good example of our services for doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc. We manage her annual marketing budget and serve as her practice’s ad agency and PR agency. We help with her newsletters and articles. Finally, we help coordinate her many educational seminars and oversee all aspects of her print ad campaigns.

Colosseum Gym

Strategic alliances are some of our favorite marketing tools. When the Colosseum Gym wanted to bring in more members, we helped them team with Diet to Go, a company that delivers fresh, portion-controlled meals to its customers. The Colosseum became a distibutor where customers come to pick up their meals twice a week. Now the Colosseum has dieters stopping in at least a couple times a week; signing them up to exercise is the logical next step. We also wrote the nomination package that helped the Colossuem win the Maryland Small Business of the Year award from the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.

Franchise & Business Law Group

We love entrepreneurs. So when a professional is ready to transform from employee to employer, we enthusiastically spring into action. When attorney David Cahn was ready to launch his own firm, we were ready. IMPACT helped him with marketing strategy, a logo, corporate identity package, ad campaigns, web site, multiple awards nominations, and several strategically-placed articles in targeted publications. The practice is now thriving and growing.
